Peter Max Art Show

Born in Europe, growing up in China, and journeying though India, Africa, and Israel to study painting; Peter Max is the definition of a “Global Artist.”

Starting with the creation of album covers and book jackets in the 1960’s, by the 1970’s Max was painting for the first 10 cent stamp as well as for U.S border murals.

Max has painted for the United Nations Earth Summit and Woodstock, the portraits of four United States presidents, and is the designated artist of the Grammy Awards and five Super Bowls.

Now you can view and even buy Peter Max’s work for yourself on October 23 at the West Field Montgomery in Bethesda, MD.
