Neighborhood collaborations make the getaway experience one to savor

City scenes and insider information greet guests who visit The Independent Collection’s new in-the-know websites, http://independentcollection.com. The recently relaunched sites are for a select group of hotels located in unique urban neighborhoods along the East Coast, all part of The Independent Collection. The Independent Collection, a growing collection of intimate lifestyle hotels managed by HHM, maps a course of travel for its guests that make the entire experience one to remember.

Since 2006, the Georgetown Jingle has raised more than 1.5 million for the pediatric oncology programs directed by Dr. Aziz Shad at Georgetown's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Hosted at the Four Seasons, this year's Jingle includes 17 trees and vignettes that were unveiled on November 28th and designed by the area's top designers. Additional events include the December 16th family fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. followed by Jingle the Night Away with Pamala Live! from 7-11 p.m.

Julia Walter, showroom manager of Boffi Georgetown along with project manager/architect Robert Matic and senior project designer Alberto De Marco, opened the Boffi showroom on Thursday evening, October 18, to architects, designers, friends and the general public during last week's Days of Design event in Cady's Alley.
