Actress Ashley Benson of hit TV show “Pretty Little Liars” and box office hit “Spring Breakers,” appeared at a Los Angeles 7-Eleven store to take the ceremonial first Slurpee sip of summer. 7-Eleven is kicking off the Slurpee season as the country heats up for summer this Memorial Day weekend. The convenience retailer is making summer #Awesummer with Summer Slurpee Days – a 49-cent medium-size Slurpee drink offer Friday through Monday, May 24-27, at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide.

Swank Designs' owners are inspired by world travels to create beautiful window treatments, accent pillows and children's bedding

After searching for decorative panels and accents and finding the available designs were just more of the same, Tabitha Mahaffey and Patricia Ulliman decided to combine their expertise and form Swank Designs, offering custom lines of pillows, panels and children's bedding. Together, they share a passion for using and incorporating fabrics in unexpected ways.

Since 2006, the Georgetown Jingle has raised more than 1.5 million for the pediatric oncology programs directed by Dr. Aziz Shad at Georgetown's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Hosted at the Four Seasons, this year's Jingle includes 17 trees and vignettes that were unveiled on November 28th and designed by the area's top designers. Additional events include the December 16th family fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. followed by Jingle the Night Away with Pamala Live! from 7-11 p.m.

This past weekend was a buzz with hundreds of D.C. area fashinoistas, stylists and bloggers at the Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Expo (FBL) at The Washington Convention Center on Saturday.  FBL Expo is DC’s premier style and fashion extravaganza.

Long-time “America’s Next Top Model” runway coach J. Alexander, "Miss J" and Bravo RHODC/DC 50's Paul Wharton hosted multiple fashion shows featuring winter and spring styles and trends.

FBL also featured discount shopping, free makeovers for the first 250 people in line courtesy of Jon David Salon, endless coupons and a model search competition!
