Governor Martin O’Malley will address the 9th Annual Maryland Hispanic Business Conference to be held today at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda. 

“It is an honor to have Governor O’Malley as one of our keynote speakers. Our one-trillion dollar purchasing power is a reflection of the growth of the Hispanic market in the state of Maryland and we are pleased that the Governor is joining us to celebrate the successes of the Hispanic business community,” says Lorna Virgili, Chair of the Conference. 

The 2010 Maryland Hispanic Business Conference is the premier Hispanic Business event in the entire area, serving more than 21,000 Hispanic businesses in Maryland. The event is a joint collaboration of the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of Maryland, Baltimore and Montgomery County, in close cooperation with government agencies. The Conference hosts a variety of workshops, training and business sessions focused on creating opportunities for participants from all industries and promoting business relationship building. 

This year’s conference theme is “Count on the Growing Hispanic Market.” The 2010 Maryland Hispanic Business Conference focuses on expanding opportunities, creating wealth and connecting a network atmosphere that targets the fast growing Hispanic market.
