News

NORTH BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA) -- An autopsy shows the driver of a charter bus suffered a deadly heart attack behind the wheel.

Investigators believe that led to last Wednesday's deadly bus crash along the HOV ramp along the I-270 spur.

The driver, 66-year-old Joseph Clabaugh of Hanover Pennsylvania, died at the crash scene. Several passengers were injured.

The accident brought rush hour traffic to a stand-still.

The bus was taking children and adults back to Pennsylvania after a day of sightseeing in DC.
