Art for Wounded Marines

The following was sent to us by Nina Foster:

The National Museum of the Marine Corps is pleased to sponsor a project to collect original art for wounded Marines. The Museum will collect children's art work from now until November 30, 2010. The collection of original student works will be displayed in the Wounded Warrior wing of the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Children are welcome to draw, color or paint a picture for our Wounded Warriors, along with including a message. The only requirement is that the art fit on an 8 1/2 X 11 inch piece of paper. Be sure that each child puts his or her name, hometown and grade level on the back of the artwork submission. All art should be mailed to the following address:

The National Museum of the Marine Corps

This is a rewarding project for the NMMC and MCHF and we encourage you to support it by spreading the word to help ensure our collection is a great success!
